Как и в первом поколении, Xeon e5 1620 v2 имеет 4 ядра и 8 потоков. Базовая частота увеличилась до 3.7 ГГц, благодаря чему даже без разгона камень неплохо справляется с большинством современных задач и даже игр.
Не стоит пугаться заявленного tdp в 130 W, на деле процессор куда холоднее и охлаждается кулером средних размеров.
Разгон
К сожалению, множитель этого процессора не поднять выше 37. На брендовых X79 материнках возможен разгон шиной, но для таких плат обычно берут старшие модели. Китайские же платы вытянут максимум 5-7% дополнительной производительности через setFSB. Увы, но заблокированный множитель сильно снижает интерес к данной модели.

Производительность и тесты

Результаты cinebench r15 в стоке
C играми, которым хватает 4 ядер и 8 потоков процессор справляется достаточно хорошо. Конечно, запаса на будущее здесь почти нет, но рассматривать e5 1620 как бюджетное игровое решение можно.

Для комфортной игры с данным процессором будет достаточно карточки уровня nvidia 1060 и аналогичных.
Ревизии
Помимо финальной, существует инженерная версия, имеющая код QF7X. В продаже она практически не встречается. Финальная же версия имеет код SR1AR и относится к степпингу S1.

Processor Base Frequency
Processor Base Frequency describes the rate at which the processor’s transistors open and close. The processor base frequency is the operating point where TDP is defined. Frequency is measured in gigahertz (GHz), or billion cycles per second.
Max Turbo Frequency
Max turbo frequency is the maximum single core frequency at which the processor is capable of operating using IntelВ® Turbo Boost Technology and, if present, IntelВ® Thermal Velocity Boost. Frequency is measured in gigahertz (GHz), or billion cycles per second.
Cache
CPU Cache is an area of fast memory located on the processor. IntelВ® Smart Cache refers to the architecture that allows all cores to dynamically share access to the last level cache.
Bus Speed
A bus is a subsystem that transfers data between computer components or between computers. Instruction Set

Он имеет 4 ядра и 8 потока и изготовлен по 22 нм техпроцессу, максимальная частота составляет 3.90 GHz, множитель заблокирован.
С точки зрения совместимости это процессор для сокета FCLGA2011 с TDP 130 Вт. Он поддерживает память DDR3-800, DDR3-1066, DDR3-1333, DDR3-1600, DDR3-1866.
Он обеспечивает слабую производительность в тестах на уровне 20.05% от лидера, которым является AMD EPYC 7742.
